Egis dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Wonju DB 's 32. Egis players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) who led the winners and scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international forward Kyochang Kyo-Chang (200-1996) accounted for 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Egis' coach Chang-Jin Chun allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) came up with 19 points and 9 assists and the other American import center Henry Ellenson (208-1997, college: Marquette) added 21 points respectively for Wonju DB in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
